Decided to do an early Sunday morning pier dive at Rye.
A pleasant surprise - the annual Giant Spider Crab gathering has started early this year!
Thousands of giant spider crabs - and many more yet to arrive!
Even found a couple fighting over breakfast - a squid! (04:48)

Water temp - 18 deg (slowly cooling!) depth 5 metres, dive time 40 mins.
Shot on a GoPro11 and a Mavic Mini 3 Pro.
