Flower pounding is a fun and simple way to create botanical prints on Paper or fabric. This technique allows you to
transfer the dye from the plants (flowers and/or leaves) to a piece of fabric or Paper to make interesting designs.
The resulting design is not washable (it would fade) but it can be dry cleaned. The flower and leaves, dye the fabric
and leave a beautiful, colorful imprint behind. What a design is up to you!
Materials
A collection of Fresh flowers and leaves- experiment with what you found and collect.
Hammer
A Piece of sheet/fabric
Scissor to Pluck Flower and leaves
A Hard surface
