What signal does the current sensor output
A current sensor is a device specifically designed to measure current. The type of signal they output depends on how the sensor is designed and how it works. The following describes several common current sensors and their output signal types:
Dc current sensor: Usually outputs a DC voltage or current signal proportional to the DC current.
Ac current sensors: They can output an AC voltage or current signal proportional to the AC current, and sometimes include phase information.
Hall effect current sensor: Using the Hall effect principle, the output voltage signal is proportional to the current, this sensor is sensitive to the direction of the current.
Rogoff base coil: An inductive current sensor that measures alternating current or pulsed current, usually output a voltage signal proportional to the current.
