Grutas Park near Druskininkai in Lithuania was built by a private land owner in the 1990s after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Once Lithuania had it's independence, the newly formed government didn't want relics and old Soviet statues of the USSR littering the country, so they gave a huge collection to Gruto Parkas (in Lithuanian). This fantastic Soviet Park is full of relics of Ex Soviet Lithuania.

If you're looking for cool things to see in Vilnius, definitely consider visiting Grutas Park. It is a bit of a drive, but makes a fantastic day trip. One of the best adventures I've had exploring Vilnius Lithuania!
