Garni temple

This temple was Awarded by UNESCO for its history and construction
The Garni Temple, built in the 1st century AD by King Tiridates I, is a Hellenistic temple in Armenia dedicated to the sun god Mihr. It survived the spread of Christianity but was destroyed by an earthquake in 1679. Reconstructed in the 20th century, it stands as the only Greco-Roman colonnaded building in Armenia and a symbol of the country's pre-Christian heritage.

Geghard monastery

Geghard is a UNESCO World Heritage site, notable for its unique architecture and historical significance in Armenian Christianity.

Geghard Monastery, founded in the 4th century CE, is located in a picturesque valley near Garni, Armenia. It is renowned for its rock-cut churches and chapels carved directly into the surrounding cliffs. The monastery complex includes the main church, numerous grottoes, and the tomb of Saint Gregory the Illuminator.

Arch of charents

The Arch of Charents, constructed in 1957, is a monument dedicated to Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents. Located near Garni, Armenia, it offers panoramic views of Mount Ararat and the surrounding landscape. Designed by architect Rafael Israyelian, the arch honors Charents’ literary contributions and provides a scenic spot for visitors to appreciate the natural beauty of the region.

Mother of armenia

The Mother of Armenia statue, located in Yerevan, was inaugurated in 1967. Designed by sculptor Fernando, the statue stands 22 meters tall on a 14-meter pedestal and represents Armenia as a strong and protective figure. It was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Soviet Armenia’s establishment and symbolizes national pride and resilience. The statue overlooks the city from a hill, offering a commanding view of Yerevan.
