Hosts of CNBC and Bloomberg each discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), and today's NVIDIA China news. Today we learned that the US government has formally greenlighted the shipment of NVIDIA's H200 chips to China. Also today, Reuters is reporting that Chinese customs authorities have been told that NVIDIA's H200 is not permitted to enter China. NVIDIA's business is growing strong even without having access to China. Therefore, any China revenue for NVIDIA would be additional upside to what I think is already a solid long-term setup. Also today, The Information published an article claiming that TSMC told customers like NVIDIA and Broadcom that it cannot allocate as much production capacity to the most advanced AI chips as these companies want. I'm always hesitant to believe anything The Information reports regarding NVIDIA-related rumors given their track record, and I don't know whether the article is true or not; I'm just bringing it to your attention so that you're aware of it. TSMC is scheduled to report earnings on Thursday, January 15. What TSMC leadership says about AI demand and AI capacity will be directly relevant to NVIDIA. I also continue to be bullish on IREN in 2026. This is the year that we should start to see IREN deliver on its AI cloud forecasts in a meaningful way. As for NVIDIA: looking ahead we have NVIDIA earnings on February 25, 2026. I'm optimistic about NVIDIA's upcoming earnings. I continue to think that NVIDIA's long-term growth is being underestimated by most analysts. NVIDIA has many large long-term growth opportunities in front of it that are in addition to NVIDIA's large datacenter business. Sovereign AI, enterprise AI, AI-native startups, physical AI, and quantum computing are all large long-term growth opportunities for NVIDIA. Blackwell Ultra is ramping quickly right now, Rubin is on track to launch in 2026, we're also expecting Rubin CPX at the end of 2026, then we're expecting Rubin Ultra in 2027, and later on we're expecting NVIDIA's Feynman in 2028. We have a clear datacenter product roadmap extending into 2028, and Jensen Huang believes there will be $3T-$4T of global AI factory buildout between now and 2030.
