hey everyone! I'm so glad this is finally being put out into the world. I started this about a year ago when I first started loving these two because I wanted to make a video of them as they exist in canon -- without manips -- and I wanted to explore some of the parallels between their stories. it was super challenging and I abandoned it for a long time, but I finally picked it back up the other day because I think they deserve some love.

I invite you to read part of a text post from shes-magic-and-myth on tumblr, who really nailed a huge part of why I love the dynamic between these two:

"One of the biggest draws for this pairing to me is that Steve Rogers and Wanda Maximoff are both unequivocally lost. They’ve both become unstuck from their time and place in the world. Steve’s home is buried under 70 years of history. Wanda’s home is a crater in the ground. Bucky, the person who anchored Steve for so long, is gone and he’s never really coming back, PIetro, the person who anchored Wanda for so long, is gone and he’s never really coming back. Even if versions still exist, they’re something else entirely now. The anchor, the safety net is gone forever. And I really like the idea of them finding each other and taking care of each other."

I love how protective steve was of wanda in civil war, and I think that makes sense with what we saw in aou. he was an integral part in helping the twins become heroes, and I think his role in that is often overlooked. I'm so glad that the end of civil war suggests they -- along with sam, clint, and scott -- will be sticking together and I can't wait to see where that takes them in infinity war.

you can view this as a tribute to their friendship as teammates or as a tribute to something more. in any case, I hope you enjoy!

side note - I know I've made four bucky/wanda videos so y'all might not have expected this but listen... multishipping is great. I love it. and I will take steve/bucky/wanda in any combination I can get, ok? ;)
