বিশ্বের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ চারটি ধাম এর মধ্যে অন্যতম হলো কেদারনাথধাম। দেবাদিদে মহাদেবের সৃষ্টি যেমন রহস্যময় তেমনি কেদারনাথের মন্দির ও পুরোটাই রহস্যে মোড়া । বছরের মধ্যে ছয় মাস বন্ধ থাকে মন্দির আর ছয় মাস খোলা থাকে পুণ্যার্থীদের দর্শনের জন্য। শীতের সময় হিমালয়ের বরফের জন্য মন্দির খুলে রাখা বা সেখানে কোন মানুষের পক্ষে ঠাকুরের সেবা চালানো সম্ভব হয় না মন্দিরের দরজা বন্ধ করার সময় সেখানে জ্বালা হয় অখন্ড প্রদীপ কিন্তু আশ্চর্যজনক ভাবে ছয় মাস পরে মন্দিরের দরজা খুলে সেই প্রদীপকে একইভাবে জ্বলতে দেখা যায়।জানা যায় এই মন্দিরে নাকি 400 বছর বরফের তলে চাপা পড়েছিল কিন্তু মন্দির একই ভাবেই অক্ষুন্ন ছিল,আসুন আজ আমরা জেনে নি কেদারনাথ মন্দিরের এমনই সব রহস্যময় কাহিনী। জেনে নি কিভাবে? কখন তৈরি হয়েছিল কেদারনাথ মন্দির?
