Traditional Handicrafts Festival in Al Ain

Описание: Held between October 28th and November 13th, the Traditional Handicrafts Festival is an annual festival held in the Al Qattara heritage district in Al Ain.

It attracts practitioners and enthusiasts of handicrafts and traditional industries from all over the UAE with the aim of promoting, and preserving traditional Emirati handicrafts and developing them as a source of income.

The festival invites visitors to experience the making of traditional crafts by local experts, learning about their significance as important expressions of the heritage, customs and traditions of the UAE.

The event promotes craftsmen's efforts to preserve these invaluable aspects of our intangible heritage, ensure their continuity and pass skills on to younger generations.
