The railing tool is a replacement for the Railing/Fence tool in Vectorworks 2023. The logic behind us has been that by separating fences and railings, each tool can be more complex and more powerful. The new railing tool has more abilities to create handrails, guide rails, and infills then previously.
You can also save your rails as Styles into your library so that you can then import them into any project that you’re working on. The railing tool has been designed to use symbols for the cross sections of handrails, posts, etc. This is made the railing tool very powerful. Now let’s have a look at it.
