It took me about 3 weeks to make this aluminum and ABS server rack for Pi sized Single Board Computers. Cable management was a priority for me, as I wanted it to look good. It is light weight and can be carried with one hand with all devices installed.
After finishing it, I decided that it would be nice to also be able to plug in a mini computer that required more than 5 volts, so I decided to add a 120 volt outlet on the back.
Now I can put my Geekom A6 in the rack too!!
I'm pretty sure that I voided the warranty on the surge protector, but it was the one that looked like it would allow the largest number of wall warts to be used internally. By cutting the power cable off, I was able to make use of 7 of the 8 outlets on the surge protector.
I will be monitoring the temperature of the power supply area to make sure that I do not need to add ventilation, and fans.
