Описание: How to create Holiday and Holiday Calendar ?

SAP Successfactors Employee Central requires the Holiday Calendar to be maintained in the Time Information section of the Job Information of the employee.

The working time of an employee on a particular day is derived from the employee's work schedule and holiday calendar.


The holiday calendar object is a set of holiday objects. The holiday calendar defines the holidays that the organisation gives to users as time off from work. The holiday calendar is usually country-specific. This is the country that uses the holiday calendar.

The holiday calendar contains the list of all the public holidays the employee is eligible for.
These holidays are dependant on the state or region of the Legal Entity the employee belongs to.

There are three holiday classes:

Full : A complete day as defined in the work schedule is a holiday.

Half : If the working day of an employee is of 8 hours according to the work schedule, then the holiday will be of 4 hours. This half day holiday can either be in the morning, evening or at night irrespective of any time reference.

None: This holiday class is used to indicate days that are public holidays but when it is common for employees of a specific kind of business to work anyway. When an employee requests time off, these days are considered as normal working days, so this holiday class is only used for information purposes.
