For the second time, I booked a ride using the Green GSM Taxi app here in Cebu — and once again, it was a smooth and interesting experience.

This particular trip started at Unity Coffee in Capitol Site, and along the way home I had a great conversation with my driver about the latest developments in the company and the growing shift toward electric taxis in the Philippines.

One topic that came up was the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East — particularly the conflict involving Iran, which many analysts believe could lead to spikes in global oil prices.
