Ravish Kumar says that if one individual speaks up against the government or a group of people, a large number of people attempt to silence her/him. Is that because a large institution becomes threatened by the voice of one person? Should people be threatened by being mobbed and therefore suppress their thoughts? Prime Time today hears the voice of many girl students who say they would voice their thoughts irrespective of the threats they get. Gurmehar Kaur, the daughter of a soldier who died in 1999 Kargil war had started an online campaign against one faction of students at Ramjas College in Delhi. Following this, she received repeated rape and death threats allegedly from ABVP supporters. (Audio in Hindi)
