Описание: We visited incredible places in the Kluane National Park area in this episode.
The fall colours made the place even more magical, we didn't know this place could be even more beautiful!
Some interesting things we learned about Kluane Lake:
The name of this lake means Big Fish Lake, in the
Tlingit language, which is one of the First Nations peoples who have inhabited that region for thousands of years and its descendants have been living there still.
-There was a river called Slims River that used to flow into Kluane Lake, and this river was coming from a glacier, just a few years ago this glacier melted to a point where the water started flowing in another direction, and now the river has dried up, and it completely changed the landscape, now there’s this huge area that is becoming like a desert and the water in Kluane Lake is also receding.
