"Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot": Watchin' Movies & Dyin' Inside - (1992) Technically a comedy?

Описание: I watch another movie and see whether or not it's amazing or if I start dying inside. Today's feature: 1992's "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot", directed by Roger Spottiswoode. Sylvester Stallone is hard-working cop Joe Bomowski, trying to do his job while avoiding his overbearing mother, played by Estelle Getty. So guess who's making a surprise visit?

If guessed it was his mother, you're correct. I actually did laugh at a point, to my utter surprise, but this is rightfully considered one of Stallone's lesser efforts of the era. The problem, you see, is that it's not very funny, or thrilling. Which is a bad look for an action comedy.

The Schwarzenegger anecdote about the film is legitimately hilarious, however.
