Great Western Splendour: Pendennis Castle & Betton Grange On The GWSR - 31/12/25

Описание: For the final outing of 2025, we finish the year as we began, with a trip up the road to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, this time for a day filming their mince pie specials, in similarly gorgeous winter conditions to that first outing in January. Doing the honours would be new-build GWR Grange 4-6-0 No.6880 'Betton Grange', now based on the line, joined by GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No.4079 'Pendennis Castle'. Pendennis is currently on a short term loan from the Great Western Society at Didcot Railway Centre, covering the GWSR's Christmas and New Year's services, due to the impromptu withdrawal of the 7903 'Foremarke Hall'. I didn't get around to making a trip up during Pendennis' last visit to the line in 2023, so the opportunity had to be taken, this time around.
