Originally released in 2025, Synaptic Perfidy marks Tentacult’s third full-length album and a decisive evolution of their signature doom-laden death metal sound. Produced by Patrick Hills (Oromet, Church, Chrome Ghost) at Earthtone Studios, the album delivers eight tracks of suffocating heaviness, warped structures, and unsettling atmosphere creating a crushing descent into misanthropic doom-death packaged in a hand painted artwork by Kenya Cavasos @sueno0o0oart

Clocking in at approximately 37 minutes, Synaptic Perfidy blends cavernous riffs, deliberate pacing, and dissonant turns into what the band describes as “misanthropic doomed death.” The album explores themes of neural decay, cosmic isolation, and existential collapse, unfolding like a bleak sci-fi transmission from deep space. From the crushing opener “Diffraction Spike” to the sprawling closer “Subjugated to Eternal Quiescence,” the record balances brute force with unsettling, cerebral detail.

With Synaptic Perfidy, Tentacult further cements their place among the more adventurous voices in modern death-doom, offering a release that is as punishing as it is immersive.
