Wendy conducting a short workshop discussing bass tapping, as well as playing a few of her original songs "Classical Sojourn", "Where The River Flows" and "Stormy Weather" featuring this technique.
Topics include tapping on a single string, cross string, arpeggios, combined slap and tap, bass walking and melody line played simultaneously, and much more.
This workshop should benefit bass players who aspire to include the technique of bass tapping in their playing. It will also hopefully provide some interesting insight to other musicians and music enthusiasts on what else the bass guitar can deliver as an instrument, apart from its conventional function within the rhythm section.
