Retracing the railways around Foggintor Quarry on Dartmoor, mainly focusing on the Plymouth & Dartmoor and GWR lines. There would also have been other more transient, probably narrow gauge lines in use around the quarry.
Filmed in September 2025, except the last section which was January 2026.
Main information sources were the 1997 book by Eric R.Shepherd and "The Railways, Quarries and Cottages of Foggintor" by Kath Brewer; also https://dartmoorexplorations.co.uk/ , the OS maps on the NLS site and the tithe maps on the Devon County Council website.
