In this video, I share how I choose a quiet traditional village life while living with my grandma in rural Africa.
My day begins inside grandma’s traditional African kitchen, washing dishes and sweeping the kitchen and compound. I then help with tethering sheep so they can graze peacefully. Later, I join grandma to harvest a fresh banana from her plantation, a beautiful moment that reflects family, culture, and tradition.
After that, I head to the farm to collect Napier grass for the cow, slice it, feed the cow, and clean the shed. We end the day by preparing a simple traditional lunch of mashed bananas, sweet potatoes, and maize flour.
This video captures real African village life, slow living, traditional food, farming, and the strong bond between a grandson and his grandmother.
