The Champion is not the most popular mech and isn’t highly rated. However, I admit I do like the design and some builds are pretty strong! The SNAC (Snub PPCs + AC20) weapons combo on them are fun and effective because they, being 60-tonners, have the most of the mobility of a medium mech but the almost the armor of a heavy mech.
The -3N isn’t the best for brawl (-2N is better with that heat quirk) but it is still pretty sweet, especially with its +10% range quirk.
Brawling isn’t dead, it just takes practice… ;)
