Glock Mod: Making a Grip Sleeve

Описание: Many manufacturers make grip sleeves for handguns. All of them have some upsides and some downsides. The upsides are that they increase traction on otherwise slick pistols and require no modification to the gun itself. The downside is that because they are made for durability, they all tend to be far thicker than is ideal. Not only does this change the grip, making the grip unnecessarily thick, the thickness of the sleeve can keep it from getting enough traction on the gun causing it to move on the grip.

Because of this, and maybe just a little bit of marketing genius by those who charge large sums of money to stipple and checker handguns, sleeves have largely fallen out of favor.

This video shows how to overcome these issues by making your own grip sleeve that, while not as durable, works significantly better and costs nothing.
