A tribute to my favourite character in Versailles, Princess Henriette (Henrietta-Anne) Stuart, Duchess of Orleans and Princess of England, also known as Minette and Madame.
She lived a short and sad life, filled with neglect and mistreatment by both Louis and Philippe and ended by an untimely and horrific death.
"My problems will never be solved, you know that."
One of my favourite historical figures. I also adore Philippe/Henriette and Louis/Henriette so any negative comments about her will be deleted.
