Описание: Lesney first produced Matchbox Superfast cars and track in 1969, in response to Mattel's release of Hot Wheels custom cars with metallic paint and low-friction wheels. Hot Wheels were 3 times the price of Matchbox cars, but the new Matchbox Superfast cars were the same price as the old ones. In 1969 the Superfast range consisted of 3 new cars, 6 re-wheeled cars and 5 new track sets.
