Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday imposed a curfew across the state as people continued to defy the provisions under section 144 after strictly following a janata curfew on Sunday. The chief minister made the announcement while addressing the state.
Meanwhile, police were deployed in many areas in the state as people continued to defy the lockdown rules. Police were seen asking the commuters to return.
