Achnasheen Station is located on "The Kyle Line" a Scottish Railway line that runs between Inverness and Kyle of Lochalsh itself; the station is operated by Scotrail.
The Station sees a very infrequent services, with trains heading either towards Kyle of Lochalsh or Inverness,
Services on the line are operated using Class 158's which are all set to be replaced by brand new Diesel Multiple Units from 2027 these still in the design stage at the time of filming.
