Police to stay at Kyagulanyi's Kasangati home until family returns

The Police have stated that they will not leave the Kasangati home of National Unity Platform (NUP) party leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu until he and his family return, more than a month after they fled. The Police leadership, appearing before the Parliamentary Accounts Committee today, explained that they are maintaining a presence at Kyagulanyi's house to protect his property until the owner reappears. Deputy Inspector General of Police James Ochaya made this statement as the leadership addressed MPs to clarify the findings of the Auditor General’s 2024-2025 report.
