I received some criticism, my trapping entry is Wing Chun, or Kung fu. Let me say this: A superficial knowledge of kata and its principles is a result of 70 years of sanitized, ignorant kata that are either for tournament or that are mystified guild-like personal lineages.
It is just mechanics.
And Matsubayashi, although there are many too unskilled to actually do it, crossing moves are kihon. In other schools it is different and I wonder how they explain their stuff, but that is that. Also, in Goju you have it all the time.
And the vertical thrust is Kyan Chotoku's special thrust against tall persons.
So here's the solution. Wing Chun needs to stop copying my moves. Ok, just kidding. ✊️🫣🤣
