Описание: RAF Warmwell was an active airfield during WW2 in Dorset. Very little of it is left now , there are two Bellman hangars and some of the earth bunkers still survive in nearby woods. In the village of Crossways there is a memorial to the men who flew from the airfield and the Airfield cinema is still in use as the village hall. Most of the airfield itself is now destroyed by the quarrying for sand and gravel extraction and recent use as a tip.
