Dry Ice cleaning is a non abrasive and moisture free process that produces no secondary waste. Cleaning with Dry Ice allows for a faster clean, a higher clean quality and poses no risk to the insulation.
The white talc powder was put on the stator to soak up any excess oil. It also acted as a guide for the operators to clean all areas of the stator.
