Target Heart Rate (THR) is the ideal heart-beat range you should maintain during physical activity to get maximum fitness benefits safely. Exercising within this range helps improve heart health, stamina, and endurance while reducing the risk of over-exertion.
Target heart rate is calculated using your maximum heart rate, which is generally estimated as 220 minus your age. For effective workouts, moderate-intensity exercise should keep your heart rate at 50–70% of your maximum, while vigorous-intensity exercise should be around 70–85%.
