CORRECTIONS:
1. Madeline's name is actually pronounced "Mad-ell-inn" not "Mad-ell-lyne", at least, that's how the creators pronounce it.
2. There's an image in the end credits that shows Madeline and the Part of Her jumping on the bouncy clouds, which contradicts what I said about her not actually hopping around on them. I was just saying how she wasn't hopping around on them in the way that we see during gameplay, (In mazes of crystals, dodging death, etc.) It's entirely possible that they actually exist on the mountain.

UPDATE:
1. I say that you can easily get past The Brain of Cthulhu in expert mode using the Space Gun, however, as of 1.4, meteors only land after the BoC/EoW is defeated and not just after smashing crimson hearts/shadow orbs, therefore making the space gun unobtainable before the brain fight. I guess just use a different gun.
