This video will show you how to disconnect your heater hoses from the firewall coupling on the Volvo P80 series cars. The 850, S70, V70, XC70, etc.
You would want to disconnect these hoses if you plan to:
1. Replace the hoses.
2. Replace the coupling.
3. Bypass the heater core (5/8" hose to connect the two ends).
4. Rebuild the seals for preventive maintenance.
