Zhonghe Myanmar Street (Huaxin Street / 華新街) is a street with rich history and culture. Many Burmese overseas Chinese immigrants have come here since the 1960s.
The hometown of the overseas Chinese in Myanmar is divided into Guangdong, Fujian and Yunnan.
So you can taste many Yunnan and Burmese cuisine here.
Famous Burmese dishes include fish soup noodles (Mohinga), Burmese curry, coconut milk noodles (Ohn-no khao swè), rice noodles, and Xi Doufen. Of course, do not forget desserts such as naan, paratha with milk tea!
Since 2018, I enjoy the food of Myanmar Street almost every week, you can taste a variety of Southern flavors here!
