Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter! Join us as we visit French Quarter for the first time since reopening. We are so excited to share a tour of our room and the resort. French Quarter is a moderate resort that is part of Port Orleans and shares the property with its sister resort- Riverside. New Orleans style theming is all around from the architecture of the buildings to the Mardi Gras colors of the lobby and even the pool decor. Having lived in Louisiana for so many years the resort feels like our former home.

We were assigned a studio in building 4 for our stay, which is directly next to Jackson Square with quick service Sassagoula Floatworks, the resort check-in, and lobby as well as Scat Cat's, the merchandise shop, and the arcade. We loved the convenience of the location! Our guest room was equipped with two queen beds, a table with chairs, a large dresser, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker. There is ample below-bed storage for luggage as well as a bench and some wall hooks for hanging storage. A large curtain separates the bathroom area from the main room for privacy. There is a tub and shower combo with the commode and double sink vanity. The closet area has a safe and ironing board as well as extra pillows and a blanket. The space was ample for our family of four and the room was clean and comfortable.

We love the quaint size of French Quarter with everything within quick walking distance. There is one bus stop for all guests and boat service is offered to and from Disney Springs. We consider the resort a hidden gem and it is on our list of favorite Disney resorts!
