Heart of Darkness thrusts our crew into one of the most isolated and psychologically brutal scenarios in the ALIEN RPG, a game built on mounting tension, dwindling resources, personal agendas, and the terrifying truth that the universe does not care if you survive.

When a remote research station receives a distress signal from a black hole–scarred frontier, a team is dispatched to investigate what should be a simple emergency response. But nothing in the Frontier goes as planned. Strange behavior. Missing staff. Whispered warnings. And something lurking in the shadows of science gone too far.

This scenario blends investigative horror, escalating panic, and the signature stress/fear system that makes ALIEN one of the most intense roleplaying experiences ever created. Every decision matters. Every roll could spiral into chaos. And sometimes the worst monsters aren’t xenomorphs… but the people trapped alongside you.

Will the crew uncover the truth behind the station’s last transmission?
Or will they become just another unsent message in the void?
