Horses of Honor® Omaha is a public art exhibition in Turner Park honoring the lives of our fallen heroes of the Omaha Police Department. The project mirrors the Horses of Honor® inaugural program held in Chicago and includes eight life-size horse statues that are artistically and individually designed by Omaha area artists.
These fabricated horses will be on display in prominent locations throughout Omaha’s Turner Park for approximately one year. Horses of Honor® Omaha will culminate with the sale of the horses in the spring of 2017. Net proceeds will benefit the Omaha Police Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization working to ensure Omaha officers have the training and equipment they need to prevent crime, save lives and make Omaha a safer city.
