SKYLAR WOLF IS 2009 NAMMY DEBUT ARTIST OF THE YEAR
Native Voice T.V. Steve gets a visit from Navajo Bues artist, Skylar Wolf, at our home in San Jose, California.The Navajo Blues Artist relaxes in the living room with an old classical style acoustic guitar. It has nylon strings which gives the instrument a warmer smooth tone to his music. This guitar was going to be thrown away but I saved it from the dumpster. I know it's a little out of tune but this was all just for fun. Doesn't matter what it is. If it has strings, Skylar will make it sound good.
Steve Macias is a former jet dragster driver turned associate producer,director, for Native Voice TV in San Jose, California. We're trying to meet and help promote Indigenous people from the music, movie and entertainment industries as well as artists and craftsmen of Native art. We also keep the Native community up to date with local and national political issues that affect the Native community and interview guests who are active and involved with the issues of today.
