Mustang's First Mountain Ride - Did We Train This Horse Good Enough?

Описание: The first ride out in the mountains can be a big moment for any young horse, and today marks a special milestone for us. This is day 342 since we adopted our mustang Rooster, and while this isn’t our first ride ever, it is his first true ride in the mountains.

In less than a year, Rooster has gone from an untouchable mustang to a trusted partner. He’s traveled with us across multiple states, attended clinics and events, packed in the mountains, packed out a bull elk, and been ridden in the corral, around home, and at the local fairgrounds. Each step along the way has been intentional, with the goal of building confidence, softness, and a solid foundation.

Today, all of that preparation comes together. Riding in the mountains brings new terrain, new sights, and new responsibility, and it’s a moment that reflects months of patience, miles, and learning together.

Thank you for following along on this journey and supporting our mustang story. This is just another step forward, and we’re excited to keep sharing where it leads.
