These are the printed circuit boards (PCBs) that I designed with the KiCAD hardware design program.
I designed the white one as STM32F103C8T6 development board, it has SDCARD, OLED Display, RS-485, ESP8266 for remote software update, external EEPROM. Thanks to the bootloader I have installed on it, code can be uploaded to other cards by using it as a stlink.
Black PCB is master board and sends data from MODBUS to internet via encrypted MQTT. Using STM32 processor, SIMCOM GSM module, USB Communication Protocol, I2C temperature sensors, SDCARD, OLED Display, External FTD232 USB to TTL module input, switches for changing address and OLED on the card There are push buttons on the screen to switch between menus.
Some warning leds and explanations of the card D1 led flashes every 100 ms via the timer indicating that the STM32 processor is working smoothly, D2 led turns green if MQTT connection is provided, D3 led lights up when MQTT connection is not provided,
On the other hand, the D4 led turns blue until the processing process is finished, at the stage when the data coming from the actively used Slave cards is collected and processed. If the MQTT connection is interrupted for any reason, the microcontroller continues to try until it is connected to the MQTT broker again.
Purple is Slave PCBs, these cards send the data they receive from i2c modules to the master. You can change the addresses through the switches on the PCBs. STM32 microcontroller flashes every 100 ms (D5 Orange led), D6 Green led flashes when data is sent to the master card. Each PCB has 2 RS-485 sockets and Power input sockets, so you can connect PCBs together just like a train wagon.
