Honda Civic Type R has long been one of the most respected hot hatchback nameplates in the business and the latest edition certainly doesn’t let the side down. It addresses the few flaws of the previous car, with a smoother ride and better finish inside. Most importantly, its practical, spacious body conceals a fantastic turbocharged engine, ultra-slick gearbox and handling that can’t fail to put a smile on your face. It poses a real threat to the Ford Focus RS and Volkswagen Golf R at the top of the hot hatch class.
