$8 Billion Harvest Fuel Relief: What It Means for Your Farm

Описание: USDA just announced the $8 billion Harvest Fuel Relief (HFR) program to help farmers offset sky-high diesel costs this harvest. In this episode, Mike Rydell breaks down what's actually in it, how payments will likely be calculated, what's still unknown, and the checklist every farmer should run this week so you don't leave money on the table. Plus, why crop insurance still matters even though HFR doesn't require it.

What you'll learn:
✅ How HFR payments will likely be calculated (FSA planted acres × modeled per-acre losses)
✅ What Farmer Bridge Assistance tells us about payment limits and AGI rules
✅ Why you should set up Login.gov and check your FSA-578 now
✅ How the 2027 SCO changes (80% subsidy, up to 90% coverage) fit into your risk plan
