Punxsutawney Phil popped his head up a couple weeks ago to see if Fox & Hen Winery is ready to open. They are! The tasting room reopens on Friday, February 20th. Head on out for a glass of small-batch wine or hard cider made with local fruit and served in a fun and inviting atmosphere. Fox & Hen is located between downtown Grand Haven and Allendale.

Bug Update:
Good news everyone! Phil has been returned to Ripley’s enclosure, where he will likely break out again. The little jail-spider was all the way across the room and returned to confinement without much fuss. Ripley doesn’t seem to mind at all, but then not a lot bothers her. Little John made short work of a darkling beetle that made the mistake of growing up in his house. RIP darkling beetle. The Cuddle Puddle continues to croon. Sue is a beast, and I think he’s finally getting hungry again… All is well in the bug room.
