levels of a structural organization composed of 06 levels -
(01) Chemical Level (02) Cell Level (03) Tissue Level (04) Organ level (05) System-level (06) Organism Level

(01) Chemical Level - The chemical level includes the smallest unit of matter – the ATOM, such as carbon (C), Hydrogen (H), and Oxygen (O). In chemical level 02 or more than 02 atoms join together to form a molecule like = Glucose = C6H12O6

(02) Cell Level - Molecules combine to form a cell which is the structural and functional unit of life. Cell performs all vital activities which are required for the normal survival in life including – metabolism, assimilation, digestion, excretion and reproduction etc.

(03) Tissue level - Cell + Cell = Tissue. Different types of cell that work together to perform a particular function make up a tissue. There are 04 basic types of tissues – (01) Epithelial Tissue (02) Connective Tissue (03) Muscular tissue (04) nervous Tissue.

(04) Organ level - Tissue + Tissue = Organ. Different types of tissues are grouped together to form an organ that performs a designated task in the body. Example – Stomach, Heart, Liver, kidney etc.

(05) System Level - Organ + Organ = System. A number of organs with a common function are grouped into systems. The human body has several systems which work interdependently to carry out specific functions. Example – Digestive system, Nervous system, Reproductive system, Skeletal system, Respiratory system etc.

(06) Organism Level - All the parts of the human body function together and constitute the total organism
