Utah bill aims to boost mental health support for first responders and their families

Описание: As people across Utah and beyond grieve the death of Santaquin Sgt. Bill Hooser, lawmakers are updating mental health resources for first responders.

House Bill 378 is an updated bill to support first responder mental health. Its reassessment comes just in time for May, which is mental health awareness month.

First responders under the bill include dispatchers, EMS crews, search and rescue and police. It provides resources and establishes standard requirements for first responder departments.
