The QTrencher 1000 is designed for the burial of cables, umbilical and small diameter pipes up to 500mm in diameter. This particular trencher was delivered to Reef Subsea in 2012.
Using variable high flow or high pressure jetting, the QTrencher 1000 can optimise subsea trenching in a number of soil conditions.
In addition, this specially engineered trenching ROV can also deploy a rear educator to enhance burial of large diameter cables and pipelines, and provides high thrust enabling rapid post lay survey.
