Описание: This Vlog is about my road trip from Gandikota to Belum Caves which is in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The distance from Gandikota to Belum Caves is 60 kilometers which took us about one and half hour to reach on our bike Yamaha R15 V3. This is my first motovlog so please let me know how was it. Your feedback will help me improve my videos. By the way this is Day 2 vlog which is about Belum caves.

It was twilight when we reached the legendary Belum Caves. Belum caves is also known as Belum Guhalu. Belum caves is largest and longest underground cave system in the Indian subcontinent which is open for public. Embedded deep in the ground, it was nothing short of an underground city with a distinctive character of its own. From a well-like entrance, we descended the steps leading into the caves to explore the surreal underground world of stalactite and stalagmite formations, long passages and spacious chambers.

Belum caves formed over a million years into the structure that they are today. The limestone and brine at the caves got accumulated over many millennia to give it the amazing structural integrity and shape that it has today.

Ever since the Belum caves opened for the common public in 2002, this has become one of the crown jewels in possession of the tourism department of Andhra Pradesh. Of the three and a half kilometers of the cave which has been explored so far, the tourist are allowed into only one and a half kilometer because of safety reasons.
