Описание: This is our remake and update to Hattie Littles very first ever single on the Gordy label. Soren Jensen just remixed this absolutely amazing version. Hattie was always my special project because when I started Motorcity I was told she had died. Then Dave Hamilton the famous funk brother guitarist, told me she was alive and well so I recorded two albums with her and she stayed at my house here in London. She was very emotionally overcome by a chance to record all over again. Hattie sung many amazing songs that my beautiful friend and songwriting partner, Sylvia Moy and I wrote specially for her. And she starred at a huge concert at the Pontchartrain Hotel in August 1990, where she shone with brilliance. Back in the early 1960s, she used to be the opening act for Marvin Gaye. We released two entire albums with her, "The Right Direction" and "Borderline". Then a greatest hits compilation entitled "The Best Of Hattie Littles". I recorded a total of twenty one tracks on her, and even brought her to England to stay with me at my house, to record her second album for us. I miss Hattie Littles terribly. She had a most tragic life, and I was so grateful for a chance to record her. I was shocked when Dave Godin told me he'd heard that she'd died many years before we started Motorcity, so when the late great Dave Hamilton told me that this was totally untrue, and Hattie was still singing gospel in Detroit, I couldn't wait to record her. She literally cried with joy at being given the chance to sing again. She was a real treasure of Motown, and I was proud to have given her a second chance to shine.
