Grill Dad Ryan Fey Inspects Our Outdoor Kitchen Manufacturing Facility

Описание: ½ of the Grill Dads, Ryan Fey, recently took a visit to our RTA outdoor kitchen manufacturing facility in Cambridge City, Indiana. Ryan worked with RTA to design his very own custom outdoor kitchen… and he got to see the entire process of how his island was made from start to finish. And of course, our own Amanda Corman graciously gave him a tour of our manufacturing facility. We’ll let the video focus on “showing” rather than “telling”... but there is a bit to share about our operation in the description.

First, Grill Dad Ryan Fey got to get an insider look into our casting department. This is the first stage of how an RTA outdoor kitchen is produced, and it all begins with concrete. The casting department is where our high performance concrete is mixed, and subsequently poured into molds. Since the vast majority of our outdoor kitchen orders are custom… it’s likely the mold the concrete is poured into is completely customized as well! All the cutouts for your appliances are placed directly into the primary mold, and concrete is poured to create the exact shape and cutout dimensions you need for your project. Pretty neat, right?
